EDUCATIONAL FIELD TRIP AAVIN -2024
Hindustan International School, Padur organized several educational trips between August 8th and August 28th, 2024, aiming to enhance students’ learning experiences through real-world exposure.
Grade 3 students visited the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) a prominent production unit under Indian Railways. The trip provided an enriching experience where students learned about the significance of rail transport for both passengers and cargo. They explored the railway museum, where different coach models and historical exhibits captured their attention. Students enjoyed a joy train ride and had an informative theatre session on Indian and world railways, making the experience educational and fun-filled.
An educational trip to the AAVIN Milk Factory in Sholinganallur was organized for Students of Grade 7 to 9 . Accompanied by faculty members of the school, the students learned about milk processing and the dairy industry, gaining valuable insight into how daily essentials are produced.
Grades 1 and 2 embarked on a memorable field trip to Mahabalipuram and Tiger Caves, where they explored the rich history and cultural heritage of the region. The students were engaged with interactive learning, combining education with fun in a beautiful historical setting.
Grade 4 and 5 Students visited the Birla Planetarium.It is considered the most modern planetarium in India, providing a virtual tour of the night sky and holding cosmic shows on a specially perforated hemispherical aluminium inner dome.
Each trip was carefully planned, ensuring the students’ safety and well-being while providing them with valuable experiential learning. These trips not only broadened the students’ understanding of different industries and historical sites but also allowed them to bond with their peers in a relaxed environment.
